Our clients envisioned a vibrant refresh for their home, embracing a new chapter of life after their children had grown. The K.A. Murphy Interiors team began by reimagining the kitchen, addressing its unintuitive layout to create a functional and inviting hub. Drawing on the client’s love of vibrant color, the team combined it with modern, airy elements and filled the space with distinctive details. Notable details include a surfboard feature wall crafted from heirloom boards shaped by the client’s father, a renowned Australian surfboard maker and a coffee bar with a Jurassic-era fish fossil countertop. The result is a home that blends rich personal history with modern luxury.
