K.A. Murphy Interiors refreshed a longtime Greenwich Village apartment for a devoted reader and writer seeking a home that felt both deeply personal and newly polished. Designed to celebrate creativity and comfort, the interiors balance bold color with thoughtful functionality, layering playful pattern, tailored upholstery, and cozy reading moments throughout. Standout details include a vibrant firetruck-red console anchoring the living room, a jewel-toned bar wrapped in graphic wallpaper, and a feminine primary bedroom designed as a serene retreat. From the floral-inspired foyer to the art-filled living spaces and intimate dining area, every detail was curated to reflect the client’s personality. The result is a whimsical yet refined city sanctuary: joyful, expressive, and unmistakably her own.
