This Hudson Valley log cabin offers a serene escape from city life. Having designed this client’s sleek Battery Park City apartment, K.A. Murphy Interiors relished the opportunity to create a space with a completely different character. Stunning features, such as the double-height stone fireplace and floor-to-ceiling windows, were enhanced with timeless updates. The fireplace was reimagined with classic stonework, while the kitchen incorporates natural elements like locally sourced branches arranged into the millwork panels. Bold patterns, such as antler and fish wall coverings and richly stained wood paneling add depth and warmth. The result is a layered, sophisticated retreat that balances rustic charm with refined luxury.
